Second Hand Tool Donations
We have recently been overwhelmed with the amount of second-hand tool offers we are receiving and our apologies that we have not been able to get back to everyone. We are always very grateful of the support we receive from the local community. However, due to the needs of the project and lack of space in our building we can no longer take any hand tools or items that are not on our resource list. Men in Sheds Bexley is a community group for retired men over 50 to come together, make things and most importantly have fun! We are based in the grounds of Christ Church Erith, just behind the church hall. Men in Sheds is a service run by Age UK Bexley.
Members share and learn new skills from one another in a workshop environment.
The shed is community club where members can chat, laugh and share stories over a cup of tea.
The shed often undertakes commissions from local organisations, schools and community groups.
As a part of our fundraising, we also sell items made in the shed at local markets or can take orders for bespoke woodwork. Check out our commissions page for more information.

If you are interested in joining the project and would like to visit, please book an appointment with the Project Officer. We can will only do a shed visit by appointment and arranged in advance.
