Both roles below suit those who have prior experience of working in a workshop or construction environment, or to be experienced woodworkers.

 

Shed Operations Volunteer (Tuesdays or Thursdays 9:15am-15:30pm)

Join our friendly team of Operations volunteers, who help keep the shed open and running smoothly!

• Support the day‑to‑day running of the Shed, helping to deliver consistent opening hours.

• Act as a keyholder, assist members with their projects, and help maintain a warm, welcoming community space.

Shed Maintenance and Operations Volunteer (Fridays 11am-3pm)

• Keep our building, workshop and garden welcoming and well cared for, working alongside shed members and fellow volunteers.

• You’ll also join our pool of keyholders who can provide cover to open/close the Shed.
